Get a small business online for R0

A website you own gives your business a home that does not depend on a social media account. Use it to show your prices, your opening hours and where to find you, and link to it from your WhatsApp Business profile and Google listing. Plumbers, hair salons, caterers, churches and school projects all fit comfortably in the free plan.

Online during load-shedding

Your website runs on our servers, not on a computer in your office, so it stays up when your area has no power. Customers can still find your number and opening hours while your lights are off.

A .co.za address

Customers in South Africa trust a .co.za address. Start on a free yourname.hostking000.net address, and when you are ready, move up to Hostking hosting with your own .co.za. On yearly Launch hosting and up, the .co.za is free for the first year.

POPIA and your website

If your site asks visitors for names, numbers or email addresses, POPIA expects you to tell them why and how you use that information. Add a short privacy page in WordPress under Settings, Privacy. Your hostking000 account details are handled by Hostking (Pty) Ltd, a South African company, under POPIA.

Moving up, in rand

When you need email on your own domain, daily backups and live chat help, Hostking Launch is from R39.50 a month for the first year on yearly billing. Pay by card or EFT, and we move your free site across for you. See plans on hostking.co.za.
